<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow stable absorbing of collision energy without increasing the weight of a car body at the time of vertically offset collision. <P>SOLUTION: A collision energy absorber 10 is provided at the front part of a car body 2 of a rolling stock 1, and is crushed under the load from the front part to absorb the collision energy. It includes a main absorbing part 11 which extends back and fourth, and a pair of sub absorbing parts 12 and 13 provided above and below the main absorbing part 11 respectively. The pair of sub absorbing parts 12 and 13 are provided to the main absorbing part 11 as one body through fracture expected parts 30 and 40 extending back and forth respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
