<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spiro[cyclopenta[def]triphenylene-4,9'-fluorene] compound having a high triplet energy level and a high glass transition temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the spiro[cyclopenta[def]triphenylene-4,9'-fluorene] compounds represented by general formula [1] (wherein R<SB POS="POST">1</SB>to R<SB POS="POST">8</SB>are each independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, phenyl, biphenyl, terphenyl, naphthyl, phenanthryl, triphenylene, fluorenyl, dibenzothiophene, carbonyl, amino, and spiro [cyclopenta [def] triphenylene-4,9'-fluorene]). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
