CRUCIBLE, MANUFACTURING METHOD OF SAPPHIRE SINGLE CRYSTAL USING THE SAME, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE CRUCIBLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a crucible with superior durability suppressing generation of blistering in a high temperature use environment such as manufacture of a sapphire single crystal.

SOLUTION: A crucible 1 is characterized by that oxygen adsorbing metal particles or their oxide particles are dispersed in high melting point metal. It is preferable that the high melting point metal is any one type from tungsten, molybdenum, or a tungsten-molybdenum alloy. In addition, it is preferable that the oxygen absorbing metal particle or its oxide particle is any one type or more of a metal particle or its oxide of zirconium, hafnium, or tantalum.
