<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing apparatus that can relatively lower a height based on which a sheet is folded without complicating a conveyance part. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet processing apparatus includes: a folding member that forms a folding line C on the sheet A by folding the sheet A; a conveyance mechanism that conveys the sheet A on which the folding line C is formed in a single direction; a pair of pressing members 502 configuring an insertion part G that obliquely extends along the folding line C and inserts a part of the folding line C, and faced downstream in a sheet conveyance direction of the conveyance mechanism; and a press driving mechanism that drives the pressing member 502 and allows the pair of pressing member 502 to press the folding line C while shifting the inserting position of the folding line C by the insertion part G. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
