<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distance measuring method capable of measuring a distance without any accuracy reduction within a short time. <P>SOLUTION: The distance measuring method includes: the preparation step of generating sample data F[i] under a first sampling frequency fa for a reference wave, down-sampling this in the data of a second sampling frequency fb, and generating a plurality of correlation data f[k, l] different in phase; the measurement step of generating measurement data g[m] under the second sampling frequency fb for a measurement wave; the peak search step of searching for the peak of a correlation value S by shifting relative positions of the measurement data and the plurality of correlation data; and the distance calculation step of calculating a distance based on time calculated based on a specified correlation maximum position S_max_i, time proportional to a phase difference S_max_k/20 with respect to the sample data of the specified correlation data, and time calculated based on an offset amount Noff. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
