<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branching device which is excellent in durability and is capable of reducing energy consumption when shifting a track. <P>SOLUTION: Since the branching device includes a base part 4 where respective ends of movable girders B1 and B2 are loaded, a plurality of wheels 3 for supporting the base part 4 and rolling on a laid traveling rail 2, a driving device 5 for driving the wheels 3, a guide rail 6 laid along the traveling rail 2, and a guide part 7 respectively abutted to both side faces of the guide rail 6, even when a horizontal load is transmitted from the movable girders B1 and B2 to the base part 4, the base part 4 and the wheels 3 are prevented from shifting in the lateral direction. Also, since the wheels 3 and the guide part 7 in a structure corresponding to an acting load are provided separately, the guide part 7 and the traveling rail 2 are not entangled, torque required by the driving device 5 is leveled and miniaturized, a peak load is reduced, the energy consumption is reduced, and the durability is improved further without wearing the guide part 7 as the wheels 3 are rotated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
