<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To irradiate a transport medium with light without causing unevenness of irradiation intensity. <P>SOLUTION: A light irradiation apparatus for irradiating the transport medium transported in a first direction with light, includes: a plurality of point light sources aligned in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction and radiating the light; and an uniformizing mechanism provided each of the plurality of point light sources and uniformizing the irradiation intensity in the second direction of the light radiated from the plurality of point light sources. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
