<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein a cooking container may be broken or cracked if materials whose coefficients of thermal expansion differ are combined as the cooking container, and the weight of the cooking container becomes heavy to cause inconvenience in carrying and handling if heat-resistant porcelain is used for the whole cooking container. <P>SOLUTION: The cooking container includes a bottom face member 3 containing an electromagnetic induction heatable material, and a side face member 2 made of material different from that of the bottom face member 3 and surrounding at least part of the bottom face member 3.
