<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for preventing animal damage which is durable for practical use in two subjects that electricity is consumed by the system even during a standby period for continuously monitoring an animal which can not be expected when it appears to threaten the animal by light emission or the like when it appears, especially electric consumption loss of the booster of a xenon lamp is large, and even intense light of the xenon lamp will be reduced in its effect by learning, if there is no actual damage for the animal. <P>SOLUTION: A power saving control unit 7 is regulated with a pulse signal generated each time the animal moves in the detection region of a detection unit by using a passive infrared motion sensor 8-0 in an animal detection unit 8 to put on and off a power source unit 1 for emission, therefore there is no waste of electricity when there are no animals.
