The present invention provides a battery module, wherein: a plurality of battery cells, which have electrode assembly accommodation units in which electrode assemblies of anode/separation membrane/cathode structures are embedded, are built in a module case in a state of the battery cells being arranged in a lateral direction to allow said electrode assembly accommodation units to be adjacent to each other; and a cooling member is mounted between the battery cells, wherein the cooling member comprises: radiating fins that are interposed between the adjacent electrode assembly accommodation units in a closely contacted state; and refrigerant pipes that are configured in a hollow structure for allowing refrigerants to flow therein, and are mounted on said radiating fins along the outer surface of the electrode assembly accommodation units.
