Provided is a skin care device comprising: a closed-end container (2) further comprising an open-end face (2a); and an ion emission unit (10) which discharges electricity into air by application of high-voltage electricity within the container (2), emitting positive ions and negative ions. The ion emission unit (10) is driven in a state wherein the container (2) is sealed, the open-end face (2a) being closed off by a skin surface, bringing the ions emitted by the ion emission unit (10) into contact with the skin surface.
