PURPOSE: A bridge dismantling apparatus using a strand jack and a construction method thereof are provided to reduce construction time by easily lifting up a deck and moving the lifted deck to land using a strand jack. CONSTITUTION: A bridge dismantling apparatus(100) using a strand jack comprises a barge(110), multiple lift towers(120), jack bases(130), lift frames(140), and lifting units(150). The lift towers are installed on the barge at uniform intervals. The jack bases connect the lift towers. The lift frames are placed on the top of the barge to be vertical to the jack bases. The lifting units are installed on the jack bases and lift up the lift frames to lift up a deck of a bridge.
