PURPOSE: A carbide manufacturing apparatus for plant particles is provided to evenly carbonize raw particles without extinguishment of flame by supplying a proper amount of air between the raw particles. CONSTITUTION: A carbide manufacturing apparatus for plant particles comprises a cylindrical raw material feed chamber(1), a cylindrical firing chamber(2), a cylindrical carbonization chamber(3), and a raw material transfer screw(4). The cylindrical raw material feed chamber has a raw material inlet(1a) on one side thereof. The cylindrical firing chamber is located between the raw material feed chamber and the carbonization chamber and is equipped with an igniter(5). The cylindrical carbonization chamber is connected to the firing chamber on one side and formed with a carbide outlet(3a) on the other side. The raw material transfer screw comprises a rotary shaft(41) passing through the centers of the raw material feed chamber, the firing chamber, and the carbonization chamber and screw blades(42,43) which are installed on the rotary shaft in the areas of the raw material feed chamber and the carbonization chamber.
