<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type washing machine that reduces the vibration transmission from a water tub to a housing during a dehydration process. <P>SOLUTION: A drum type washing machine comprises a water tub 2 provided in a housing 1, a drum 3 rotatably provided in the water tub 2, and a motor 10 that rotationally drives the drum 3. The water tub 2 comprises a water tub front part 12 fixed to the housing 1, and a water tub rear part 13 resiliently supported by the housing 1. A rear opening part 12a formed on the water tub front part 12 and a front opening part 13a formed on the water tub rear part 13 are sealed and connected by a packing 14. The water tub front part 12 is formed as having a larger diameter than that of the water tub rear part 13 so that the vibration transmission from the water tub 2 to the housing 1 is reduced during a dehydration process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
