<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize power supply to a PoE power reception device connected to plural power supply ports in a PoE power supply device. <P>SOLUTION: A switching hub 100 includes: plural power supply ports 30 for supplying power to a PoE power reception device 200; a power consumption monitoring section 14 for monitoring power consumption in the PoE power reception device 200 connected to each of the plural power supply ports 30, for a prescribed period in a time sequential manner; and a power supply determination section 16 for determining power supply to the PoE power reception device 200 based on the power consumption monitored by the power consumption monitoring section 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
