<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction stir welding method which can stably join a member to be joined even when a joint of the member to be joined carries out direction conversion with a substantially right angle or a small curve. <P>SOLUTION: In a part (corner part) C1, C2, C3 or C4 whose intermediate part with which a straight portion of a joint of a member to be joined 10 from which a direction differs mutually is connected is a substantially right angle, or a curve (small R part) D1, D2, D3 or D4, a rotational speed of a pin 82 and a shoulder face 83 is made to be slower than a rotational speed in a straight portions 11-14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
