<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher which is excellent in water saving property by effectively using circulation washing water to be used in an upper washing tank when washing objects to be washed by vertically dividing the washing tub, and also has energy saving property and improved convenience. <P>SOLUTION: The dishwasher includes: a reception board 9 for dividing the washing tub 3 to be opened/closed by a door part 5 into an upper tank 6 and a lower tank 7; an upper washing nozzle 12 for washing the objects 4 to be washed in the upper tank 6; a lower washing nozzle 13 for washing the objects 4 to be washed in the lower tank 7; a washing pump 21 for supplying washing water to the upper washing nozzle 12 and the lower washing nozzle 13; a vertical flow passage 23 arranged between the reception board 9 and the door part 5 so as to obtain communication between the upper tank 6 and the lower tank 7; and a drain port 25 arranged in the lower tank 7 positioned substantially under the vertical flow passage 23. The washing water sprayed into the upper tank 6 is allowed to pass the vertical flow passage 23 and to flow into the drain port 25 by shortest distance, thereby avoiding the amount of useless water flowing through a path and also obtaining a water saving effect. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
