TABLET DISINTEGRATING IN THE ORAL CAVITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tablet disintegrating in the oral cavity, which has a rapid disintegrating property and appropriate hardness, and is suitable for industrial production, and a method of producing the same.

SOLUTION: The tablet disintegrating in the oral cavity comprises: (I) a granulated material obtained by granulating a mixture containing (a) an active ingredient and (b) D-mannitol while spraying a water dispersant of partial alpha starch with 10-20 wt.% of a cold water-soluble content; and (II) at least one disintegrating agent selected from crospovidone and maize starch.
