<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack that can be expected to demonstrate high reliability by contriving the enclosure so as to enhance dimensional accuracy of appearance, and imparting mechanical strength to the enclosure so as to enhance shock resistance. <P>SOLUTION: A protection circuit board 16 and a PTC element body 150b are connected electrically with a cylindrical unit cell 10 by using lead plates 14, 150a. A pair of rigid case members (first member 19a and second member 19b) are used as a holder, and the unit cell 10 and the protection circuit board 16 are contained from both end sides of the unit cell 10 in the longitudinal direction. Fitting claws 195a, 195b and fitting grooves 193a, 193b arranged on the side surfaces 194, 196 are fitted to each other at this time.
