SOCKET FOR SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket for inspection of a semiconductor device, without using a dedicated socket board.

SOLUTION: A socket for a semiconductor device to which a semiconductor device is to be mounted has a plurality of socket leads formed of a conductive material. The socket lead is connected to a pin socket formed of a conductive material. The socket lead connected to the pin socket is inserted into a through-hole of a socket board substrate, so that the socket board substrate and the socket for a semiconductor device are connected. The pin socket has an insulation part covered with an insulating material and a conductive part of the exposed conductive material, on an outer surface of the pin socket.
