A single-axle trailer for a motor vehicle or similar towing vehicle has at least one ball head with a ball-shaped coupling as the connecting subassembly. The trailer which has a base frame with at least one supporting wheel is fixable to said ball-shaped coupling by means of an intermediate member, wherein the latter additionally has two coupling points arranged at a transverse distance from each other on both sides of the longitudinal centre plane of the trailer. According to the invention, a profiled support which is guided at one end to the base frame of the trailer by two parallel retaining limbs and at the other end forms the two coupling points with movable bearings is provided as the intermediate member. Therefore, in addition to the introduction of tensile force and motion in the region of the connecting subassembly, pivoting, thrust and/or lifting movements are absorbable in the region of movable bearings. |
