<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation control structure, in an electric power steering device, that controls a worm shaft to be separated (to leap up) from a worm wheel by a rigid member and prevents the occurrence of noise caused by the separation. <P>SOLUTION: A biasing mechanism 51 includes: the cylindrical rigid member 53 having a screw 56 to be screwed with a screw hole 52 formed on a housing 31; and a torsion coil spring 54 for biasing the rigid member 53 in a direction (rotational direction) where the rigid member is screwed into the screwed the screw hole 52. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
