PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method capable of realizing multi-cluster distributed processing environment which can be controlled safely and easily.

SOLUTION: A representative client terminal 2 includes an encryption unit 24 for encrypting a configuration file of a distributed processing cluster 3 indicated by a cluster identifier accepted by an input unit 21, and a transmission unit 25 for transmitting the encrypted configuration file and a command accepted by the input unit 21 to the distributed processing cluster 3. The distributed processing cluster 3 includes a decryption unit 33 for decrypting the encrypted configuration file received by a receiving unit 30, and a processing unit 35 which, if a determination unit 34 determines that the decrypted configuration file is the configuration file of the distributed processing cluster 3, performs processing on a command received by the receiving unit 30.
