<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator reduced in heat loss and improved in energy-saving performance. <P>SOLUTION: This refrigerator includes a storage compartment formed in a heat insulating housing, a cooling means for cooling a gas of the storage compartment, an air distributing means for distributing the gas cooled by the cooling means to the storage compartment, a duct approximately vertically disposed at the back of the storage compartment so that the gas distributed by the air distributing means flows upward, and a projecting section disposed on the duct, having a first discharge port for blowing out the gas distributed by the air distributing means to the storage compartment, and formed toward the inside of the dust at an upstream side of the gas flow at a lower section of the first discharge port, and the gas has a downward velocity component having a negative pressure zone at a downstream side of the projecting section, and discharged from an opening of a dimension H<SB POS="POST">1</SB>' from an upper end of the first discharge port to an end in the duct, of the projecting section, larger than a height dimension H<SB POS="POST">1</SB>of the first discharge port. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
