<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for searching route capable of reducing a user's mental burden as much as possible even when a user makes a round trip from a starting point to a destination. <P>SOLUTION: A control device, when a forward path is searched, narrows down to forward and return paths whose difference (ΔRa) between a total cost of a forward path with coinciding return path and a minimum total cost (Ra_min) of a forward path having the smallest total cost of the forward path, is less than a first predetermined value (T13). Successively, a search result of a reciprocation path is determined as a forward and return paths whose difference (ΔRb) between a total cost of a return path with coinciding forward path and a minimum total cost (Rb_min) of a return path having the smallest total cost of the return path, is less than a second predetermined value (T15). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
