<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve game interest by providing new game properties with respect to opening frequency of a start port. <P>SOLUTION: A game machine is disposed with: a normal symbol operation gate, in a right upper part of a game board surface; a fixed start port, in a central lower part; and a variable start port, in a right lower part. The game machine sets a first prescribed value to a variation shortening counter and sets a second prescribed value smaller than the first prescribed value to a special variation counter when a big winning game ends, and performs subtraction of the respective counters each variable display of a special symbol. The game machine extends an opening time of the variable start port until the variation shortening counter becomes zero. The game machine sets a variation time of a normal symbol as a normal variation time before the setting of the respective counters, sets the variation time of the normal symbol as a special variation time equal to or longer than the variation time for normal variation until the special variation counter becomes zero after the big winning game end, and sets the variation time of the normal symbol as a shortening variation time until the variation shortening counter becomes zero after the special variation counter becomes zero. The game machine comes in a game state that left shooting is advantageous until the normal symbol starts shortening variation, and comes in a game state that right shooting is advantageous after the normal symbol starts the shortening variation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
