<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a smooth surface and no irregularity in the characteristics, and to provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor manufactured by the method for manufacturing an electrophotographic photoreceptor. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an electrophotographic photoreceptor includes: a coating step of coating a surface of a cylindrical conductive substrate with an organic photosensitive layer coating film; and a drying step of drying the organic photosensitive layer coating film formed on the surface of the cylindrical conductive substrate to form a photosensitive layer. The drying step is carried out by heating the cylindrical conductive substrate with high-frequency induction heating means while rotating the substrate, as well as by supplying air from air supply means to the cylindrical conductive substrate so as to simultaneously dry a plurality of cylindrical conductive substrates. The air supply means includes at least a pair of air supply ports disposed facing each other, and the cylindrical conductive substrate is placed with the axial direction of the cylindrical conductive substrate perpendicular to the opposing direction of the pair of the air supply ports. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
