<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve chamfering accuracy and chamfering quality by avoiding the useless damage of a glass pane and enhancing the positioning accuracy of the glass pane in a grinding position. <P>SOLUTION: This chamfering device includes: a glass pane carrying device 3 having a pair of right-left lower side belt carrying mechanisms 10 for placing the glass pane 1 on an upper surface and an upper side belt carrying mechanism 20 arranged in a pair at the upper side of the respective lower side belt carrying mechanisms 10 and carrying the glass pane 1 in a straight line in the horizontal direction; and a diamond wheel 2 arranged at both sides of a carrying passage and chamfering an end surface 1a in the lateral width direction of the glass pane 1. One side of the right-left belt carrying mechanisms 10 and 20 immovably and fixedly supports the glass pane 1 in the lateral width direction as the fixed side H, and the other side movably supports the glass pane 1 in the lateral width direction as the moving side L. A relative position of the glass pane 1 and a belt is determined immediately before a heading position sandwiched by the upper-lower belts, and the belt is positioned in a grinding position T, and thereby, the end surface of the glass pane 1 is positioned to the diamond wheel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
