<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump water heating outdoor unit that reduces the heat radiation from a compressor, and reliably prevents a hot refrigerant flowing through the compressor from cooling down. <P>SOLUTION: The heat pump water heating outdoor unit includes a refrigeration cycle including: a compressor 3; a refrigerant-water heat exchanger 4 for heating water with a refrigerant discharged from the compressor 3; a decompression device 6 for decompressing the refrigerant from the refrigerant-water heat exchanger 4; an evaporator 7 for exchanging heat between the refrigerant from the decompression device 6 and air; and an intake muffler 5 for reducing the sound produced by the refrigerant taken into the compressor 3, wherein the intake muffler 5 is provided at a position away from the compressor 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
