<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that includes: a transfer device 37 for passing a recording sheet P between an image carrier 31 and a transfer roller 36 disposed to face opposite to the image carrier 31, and transfers a toner image on the image carrier to the recording sheet; a fixing device 50 for passing the recording sheet between a fixing roller 51 and a pressuring roller 52 to fix the toner image; and a guide extending along a conveyance path for conveying the recording sheet from the transfer device to the fixing device; and prevents in advance the occurrence of image disturbance caused by a charge removing member. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a guide divided into a guide 101 on a transfer device 37 side and a guide 102 on a fixing device 50 side; and the guide 101 on a transfer device 37 side has lower volume resistivity than volume resistivity of the guide 102 on a fixing device 50 side. The image forming apparatus further includes a metal member 100 that covers both of the guides in a manner to intersect with the guides at a joint of the guides, and has all the ridgeline parts and corner parts thereof formed in an R shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
