<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching circuit, a half bridge circuit and a three-phase inverter circuit that prevent element destruction by suppressing the generation of a recovery surge voltage. <P>SOLUTION: A switching circuit includes: a series circuit in which first and second switching elements each having a circuit switch terminal, a control signal terminal and a body diode are connected in anti-series; an external diode connected in parallel with the series circuit in the same conduction direction of the body diode of the first switching element; a current detection circuit for detecting a current direction flowing into the first switching element; and control means for performing closing control of the first and second switching elements if the current direction detected by the current detection circuit is a forward flow to the body diode of the first switching element, and performing opening/closing control of the first and second switching elements according to a gate signal if the current direction detected by the current detection circuit is a reverse flow to the body diode of the first switching element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
