<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a ceramic fired body which can inhibit the generation of cracks and also, can dry a ceramic molding in a short time, a method for manufacturing a honeycomb structure using the method for manufacturing a ceramic fired body and a method for manufacturing an exhaust gas cleaning device, as well as a dryer usable for the method for manufacturing a ceramic fired body. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a ceramic fired body comprises a process to manufacture the ceramic molding C by molding a ceramic raw material composition containing water, a process to dry the ceramic molding C by irradiating it with a microwave in a vacuum atmosphere at 1 kPa to 50 kPa, and a process to manufacture the ceramic fired body by firing the dried ceramic molding C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
