<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optic display and a material used for the electro-optic display. <P>SOLUTION: A first electro-optic display comprises first and second substrates, an adhesive layer, and an electro-optic material layer disposed between the first and second substrates. The adhesive layer contains a mixture of a polymeric adhesive material and a hydroxyl group containing polymer having a number average molecular weight of 5000 or less. A second electro-optic display is similar to the first display, and has an adhesive layer containing a thermally-activated crosslinking agent so as to reduce void growth when the display is subjected to temperature changes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
