<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power inverter circuit drive controller which eliminates turn-off losses incurred in switching elements used to apply an initial current, while also making converted output of input voltage possible. <P>SOLUTION: If a drive control circuit turns switching elements M1 and M4 on while switching elements M2 and M3 remain turned off, a coil current iLu conducts in a positive direction. The coil current iLu decreases gradually from a positive direction maximum value to zero by a self-inductive action of a coil 7u, and on/off of the switching elements M2 and M3 are completed before a prescribed time t1 at which the conducting current of the coil iLu crosses the zero point. That way, the amount of an accumulated carrier (reverse recovery charge ΔQ) in a parasitic capacitor is controlled by the time the coil current iLu crosses the zero point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
