<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which makes banding appearing in a print image hard to be conspicuous. <P>SOLUTION: This printer includes a print head which is equipped with a plurality of nozzles ejecting ink of the same hue, and a control part, and the print head is equipped with three or more nozzle arrays which are formed by arranging the plural nozzles in the sub-scanning direction and are separated from each other in the main scanning direction, and two or more nozzle arrays out of the plural nozzle arrays are disposed as the same-position nozzle arrays wherein the position of each of the arranged nozzles in the sub-scanning direction is the same as that of the other nozzles, while one or more nozzle arrays out of the plural nozzle arrays are disposed as the nozzle arrays wherein each of the arranged nozzles is positioned between the nozzles of the same-position nozzle arrays in the sub-scanning direction. The control part performs control, regarding at least a part of raster lines which forms the print image, so that the part may contain ink dots formed by the ink ejected from the two or more nozzles which belong to the respective same-position nozzle arrays and are identical with each other in the positions in the sub-scanning direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
