<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new composition which is useful for hair. <P>SOLUTION: The composition for hair comprises cubic liquid crystals as an active ingredient. The cubic liquid crystals used for the composition for hair comprises: a surfactant; water; optional oil; polyhydric alcohol; and an auxiliary surfactant.
