<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase fitting reliability in a connector. <P>SOLUTION: A connector includes: a first housing 10 that includes a locking portion 11; and a second housing 30 that includes a hood portion 32 capable of inwardly fitting the first housing 10 and in which a temporary locking reception portion 45 and a final locking reception portion 44 are formed in the peripheral wall of the hood portion 32. The temporary locking reception portion 45 is situated on the opening side of the hood portion 32 and is locked to the locking portion 11 so as to be allowed to hold the first and second housings 10 and 30 in a temporary fitting state before a regular fitting state while the final locking reception portion 44 is situated on the back side of the hood portion 32 and is locked to the locking portion 11 so as to be allowed to hold the first and second housings 10 and 30 in a regular fitting state. A hard-to-bending portion 48 that is hardly bent and deformed is formed between the opening edge and the temporary locking reception portion 45 in the peripheral wall of the hood portion 32 while an easily bending portion 49 that is more easily bent and deformed than the hard-to-bending portion 48 is formed between the temporary locking reception portion 45 and the final locking reception portion 44. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
