<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel means for suppressing nonspecific adsorption and improving recognition ability of protein or peptide for further sensitively detecting and determining the target protein or peptide. <P>SOLUTION: An organic redox compound having an electron giving/receiving function is immobilized on an electrode substrate directly or via a linker molecule along with a molecule that has saccharide selectively recognizing the protein or the peptide, at a terminal thereof. An electric potential is applied to the electrode substrate to shift the organic redox compound to an oxidized type so as to significantly improve the recognition performance of the protein or peptide and effectively suppress the nonspecific adsorption. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
