<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for transporting a rolling stock that enables a large and heavy vehicle to be transported by rail through a track of a conventional line, and to provide a rolling stock using the same. <P>SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a rolling stock transport method for transporting the rolling stock includes: at least two trucks having three or more axles on which a wheel is each mounted; a vehicle body 17 supported on the track; equipment 32 disposed under a floor of the vehicle body, between the tracks; and a plurality of electric equipment 34 arranged in the vehicle body. The transport method includes: mounting at least two temporary trucks 50 on the vehicle body, the temporary tracks fitting to a track gauge of the conventional tracks, as substitute for the at least two tracks; mounting an intermediate temporary trucks 52 on the vehicle body, the intermediate temporary trucks fitting to the track gauge of the conventional tracks, as substitute for the equipment disposed under the floor; and traveling on the conventional track to transport the vehicle while an axle load of the vehicle including the temporary trucks and the temporary trucks is set to equal to or less than an allowance axle load of the conventional track. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
