The invention relates to a tunneling machine or extraction machine (1) comprising extraction tools which can be displaced on the working face, and a caterpillar chassis (16) and anchoring drilling and placing devices (13) which can be pivoted on machine frames. According to the invention, the caterpillars of the chassis, between the front and the rear reversal shaft (12, 9) in the region of the upper strand which faces away from the base and which can reverse, are guided in a lowered manner whilst reducing the distance between the caterpillar strands, and the anchoring drilling and placing devices (13) are articulated in the free area in said manner on the machine frames. |
