A liquid crystal display panel (1) is provided with: a TFT substrate (10) which comprises a flexible first plastic substrate (11) and a terminal region (T) that is formed on the first plastic substrate (11) and provided with a terminal (27) and a wiring electrode (28); a CF substrate (20) which is arranged so as to face the TFT substrate (10) and comprises a flexible second plastic substrate (13); and a liquid crystal layer (25) which is arranged between the TFT substrate (10) and the CF substrate (20). In addition, the liquid crystal display panel (1) is provided with: a metal film (15) which is provided on a surface of the second plastic substrate (13) and reflects laser light, said surface facing the terminal region (T); and a protective film (16) which is sandwiched between the TFT substrate (10) and the CF substrate (20) and covers the metal film (15).
