<p>[Problem] To provide an inflator mounting structure for an airbag for a front passenger seat, the inflator mounting structure being configured in such a manner that a metallic case for housing the airbag is compact and that the inflator and the metallic case are joined together with increased rigidity. [Solution] An inflator (6) is disposed so that, in a plan view, a side (9c) of a substantially square connecting line (9b) formed by connecting multiple bolts (9) is tilted relative to a side wall (4a) of a metallic case (4), and so that the weld (13) at which a mounting bracket (5) is welded to the metallic case (4) is provided within a triangular region (15) formed by the side (9c) of the connecting line (9b) and a corner (4g) of the metallic case (4).</p> |
