PURPOSE: A door apparatus for slag discharge of an electric converter is provided to improve the efficiency of arc heat by formation of foamed slag and to increase the recovery rate of molten steel by collecting valuable metal from molten slag. CONSTITUTION: A door apparatus for slag discharge of an electric converter(1) comprises a slag discharge guide support(10), a discharge control door member(20), and a door operating device. The slag discharge guide support is arranged under a slag discharge hole(1c) formed on one side of the electric furnace, and slag flows out along the top surface of the slag discharge guide support. The discharge control door member is protruded from the top surface of the slag discharge guide support and moved up and down. The door operating device moves the discharge control door member up and down.
