PURPOSE: A metallic external material of a portable terminal and manufacturing method thereof are provided to enable a user to flexibly select a surface processing method of an external case by attaching a plastic molding material on the external case. CONSTITUTION: An external case(100) is manufactured by metallic materials. The surface of metal is processed. A plastic molding material for combination(200) is attached on inside external case. The plastic molding material includes a protrusion for the combination or a rib for the combination. Adhesive combines the external case with the plastic molding material for the combination.
