PURPOSE: A rubber composition for tire tread is provided to improve fuel efficiency and braking performance at the same time, and to maintain hardness at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A rubber composition comprises: 20-50 parts by weight of an emulsion-polymerized styrene butadiene rubber containing oil; 25-65 parts by weight of solution-polymerized styrene butadiene rubber; 20-40 parts by weight of butadiene rubber; and 60-75 parts by weight of carbon black. The oil content of emulsion-polymerized styrene butadiene rubber is 20-50 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of a raw rubbery elastomer. The molecular weight distribution of the butadiene rubber is 1-7. The styrene content of the emulsion-polymerized styrene butadiene rubber is 20-25 weight%, the vinyl content in the butadiene is 15-20 weight%, and the glass transition temperature(Tg) is (-48)-(-51)°C.
