摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element for light distribution that includes a predetermined spectral energy distribution within a predetermined range of operating wavelength. <P>SOLUTION: An optical element for light distribution 10 includes: a transparent body 12 which light penetrates into; and an optical branching layer 18 that is formed within the transparent body 12. The optical branching layer 18, within a range of operating wavelength, includes: a predetermined wavelength-dependence reflectance for reflecting the light penetrating into the transparent body 12, and generating reflected emission light flux; and a wavelength-dependence transmittance for transmitting the light penetrating into the transparent body 12, and generating transmitted emission light flux. The optical element 10 also includes compensated layer structures 28 and 30 that are formed on the transparent body 12 in addition to the optical branching layer 18. The transmittance of the light passing through the compensated layer structures 28 and 30 is set according to the reflectance and the transmittance of the optical branching layer 18 so that a spectral energy distribution of the reflected emission light flux is consistent with that of the transmitted emission light flux and the difference is equal to a value of a gap independent of a wavelength at a maximum, within the range of operating wavelength. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
