<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell assembly capable of obtaining an optimal catalytic environment. <P>SOLUTION: A solid fuel cell assembly includes: a housing that defines an electricity generation and combustion chamber; a cell stack that is provided in the housing; a catalyst housing case 78a; a modified gas supply pipe 82a that is attached to the catalyst housing case 78a; and a fuel gas supply pipe 80a.
