SCANNER MANAGEMENT DEVICE, SCAN SYSTEM, AND SCANNER MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the same scan results by the same operation even when scanners have different functions.

SOLUTION: A scanner UI application manages a plurality of scanners. The scanner UI application makes information processing equipment execute: a step of establishing a network session with a scanner according to a session request via a network; a step of determining whether a partner's scanner in which session has been established has a function to transmit image information generated by scanning via a network or not; a step of determining whether a driver corresponding to the partner's scanner is installed or not when the partner's scanner has no function to transmit image information generated by scanning via a network; and a step of starting a driver and obtaining image information when a driver corresponding to the partner's scanner is installed.
