INKJET PRINTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printing device, capable of performing preferable printing even after long-term use.

SOLUTION: The inkjet printing device 100 includes: an inkjet head 10 having a nozzle surface 14 with a nozzle formed thereon; and a cap 21 to which a protective fluid is supplied. The inkjet head 10 includes a metal portion 11 and a water-repellent layer 12 formed on the surface of the metal portion 11 to form the nozzle surface 14. The nozzle surface 14 of the inkjet head 10 is maintained in a condition where it is immersed in the protective fluid in the cap 21 while printing is in a rest condition.
