Disclosed is a coating liquid for impurity diffusion, which contains (A) a polyvinyl alcohol resin that has a 1,2-diol structural unit represented by general formula (1), (B) an impurity and (C) water. Consequently, the coating liquid has excellent stability and is capable of achieving good printability, for example, during long-time continuous printing or after a pause, and is thus suitable as a coating liquid for impurity diffusion especially for use in screen printing. (In the formula, R1, R2 and R3 each independently represents a hydrogen atom or an organic group; X represents a single bond or a bonded chain; and R4, R5 and R6 each independently represents a hydrogen atom or an organic group.) |
